Qualifications: 

Seeking outstanding candidates with substantive research interests in all areas of research on governance. Rank open. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree and a track record of research in a relevant area of the Faculty, preferably from leading research universities in North America, Europe, and Asia. Candidates should demonstrate academic excellence in one or more of the following areas: economics, environmental studies, political science, psychology, public administration, sociology, urban studies, interdisciplinary programs or other related disciplines.

Successful applicants are expected to be able to conduct research, teach, and publish in both Chinese and English. The appointees will be primarily based in the Institute of Governance (Qingdao Campus of Shandong University) but will have the opportunity to teach in relevant disciplines. A competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
